Looking to start a support group - need HELP!!!!!

I live in Canada and would like to start a support group. Can anyone give me advice, organizations, resources, etc. to get going...

I suppose I would go through your local hospitals, hospices, Cancer Society, etc. Would you be doing this from your home? You can put out little flyers. I've often seen flyers at the hospital for wigs and things. Do you have the book by Dr. Susan Love? There's a lot of resources listed in the back. Best of luck. Keep us posted.0

I was 27 years old the first time I attended a support group. As helpful as the group was, I felt very isolated being a young woman in that setting. The help came from the older survivors sharing the personal and in some cases intimate details about how to deal with the loss of a breast, the process of dealing with this on an emotional and physical level. There is a lot you can learn from the younger victims of this vicious disease and I am willing to share more input if you are interested.0
