still having pains

Hi, I was diagnosed with cervical cancer in 1999. I had surgery to remove cancerous lymph nodes and went through radiation and chemo. Even though it has been 4 years since I completed my treatment, I still have pain in the area where they removed the lymph nodes. This is also the area that received the most radiation (besides my cervix). Is anyone else experiencing anything like this?

My surgery was last November and my docotr told me that the scar tissue left from the surgery where my ovaries and lymphnodes were cause the pain. It takes years for nerves to regenerate but call your surgeon and find out if the pain you are having is normal. My radiologist told me that the radiation can cause more scar tissue which also can cause pain.0
