stomach cancer

I have recently finished treatment (surgery, chemo and radiation) for stomach cancer as well. I lost about 40 pounds, but am now eating well. Unlike your husband, I don't need to gain any back as I had few pounds to spare before it all began. I have talked to a few acquaintences who have been through similar treatment and gained part of their weight back within a year. I have also participated in a esophagectomy support group and most participants did gain weight after finishing treatments. I finished in March so it hasn't been that long. I hope the rest of the treatment and recovery goes well for him. B0

ljab - would love to talk to you. feel free to email me at bkemery@aol.com - identify yourself in the subject line (I delete unknown emails). I am just out of treatment for stomach cancer - had three month check-up this week - all clear. There is hope. Think the key is finding the right docs.ljab5 said:help i have just been diagonised w/stomach cancer and would love to talk to people with the same cancer
