advice on starting local support group

Hey There,
I started a local support group in the 80s and it is still doing great, although I am in no position to attend like I used to.... The point is to establish some guidelines much like AA as far as spiritual concepts. The most beneficial is the fact that you are all sharing a common bond & that is cancer. I think it is a wonderfull idea. Its not a matter of having a degree in anything as much as it is sharing & offering morale support.
God Bless You
