Hi, Rosie - I am a one year survivor myself still dealing with aftereffects of chemo, radiation etc. If it wasn't for my husband's love and support I don't know how I would cope. I will be happy to listen anytime you need to vent!0

Hi Deb-Glad you responded. It helps so much to talk to others who know how you feel. Wondered if you might e-mail me sometime. I am 50 , my husband is 46. This site has helped me a lot. I've made lots of new friends. Hope you can be another. So sorry about your mom. I lost my dad while going through chemo and had to be released from the hospital to go to the funeral. That was 5 years ago. I still miss him and know that I always will. I wish there was something I could say or do to make you feel better. I do know that time is a great healer. You will still grieve and miss her but as time goes on, it eventually is not as bad. Not that you won't have your days when she is all you think about Those days are tough. The first time you go through times without her. holidays, birthdays etc. are also tough. I know you have been told countless times to hang in there. But, that is good advice. Stay strong for yourself and find comfort in the things you enjoy and love. My best to you.0 -

I am new to this. My husband has liver cancer and I to would like to have an E-mail pen pal to share things with as well. Sometimes it is so hard to keep on hoping and trying to find the good in a day.
I just need to vent to someone who understands what the pressure is like. Hope we can help each other. Lil0
