URGENT: NEED HELP

MY NAME IS PATRICIA SEXTON
I LIVE IN STOCKTON, CA
I NEED GOD'S HEALING.
I HAVE COLON CANCER AND MY HUSBAND JUST DIED OF PROSTATE CANCER ON JAN 18, 2003. WHEN HE DIED I LOST ALL OF HIS INCOME OF $3,100.00 PER MONTH. I AM ILL AND ALONE. MY SON HAS LEUKEMIA AND HAS HAD TO GIVE UP HIS JOB BECAUSE HE IS TOO ILL, HE NOW LIVES WITH FRIENDS AND HAS HAD TO GO ON DISABILITY AND MEDI CAL. HE HAS BEEN HOSPITALIZED SEVERAL TIMES AND DOES NOT SHOW SIGNS OF IMPROVING. BECAUSE OF HIS ILLNESS, HE IS UNABLE TO HELP. I NEED TO TRY AND WORK AT LEAST PART-TIME EVEN WITH MY CANCER, SO THAT I MAY PAY THE UTILITIES AND PURCHASE FOOD, AS WELL AS CONTINUE MY MEDICAL TREATMENT WHICH KAISER CHARGES ME $300 PER MONTH TO MAINTAIN. I FIND MYSELF BECOMING MORE ILL BECAUSE OF THE ENORMOUS AMOUNT OF STRESS AND FEAR OF NOT BEING ABLE TO HELP MYSELF. I KNOW GOD HAS A PLAN FOR THIS SITUATION BUT I AM NOT SURE OF WHAT THAT IS. MY HOME IS OLD AND FALLING APART AND I CAN NO LONGER DO NEEDED REPAIRS. I DO NOT KNOW WHAT TO DO ABOUT MY SITUATION OR WHERE TO TURN. PLEASE HELP ME IF YOU CAN.

    Hello Patricia. I'll be praying for you regarding your losses and continued trials. I could not help but notice you asked for a healing from God; That is a very good start....but not the finish. Has your family always been 'faithful' believers in the Lord? I was at a gospel meeting last night and the story of Job was rekindled in a special way with the sum total being whatever you are being put through has a purpose. As a survivor, I know. Have you attempted to get disability for yourself? May I suggest you look in the yellow pages of your telephone directory there in Stockton and locate the nearest Church of Christ to you; Be prepared to share your needs and receive more than just the 'physical aspects' of your request. In this fight Patricia, we must face the reality that WE MUST LET GO AND LET GOD! Keep in touch and let me know how things have gone with those few suggestion.     I beleive that you should stay strong and not worry about anything. Live your life until you can and live it well..no exceptions.

    There has to be help. I am only 40 years old and am getting Social Security Benefits. You need to apply. I don't know if I am helping, but it does help. You are eligible. Many people think they aren't when they are. I hope I have helped some. What happened when you tried for Medical Assistance? You march right down to the office and apply because you are eligible for benefits there as well. Once you get on SSI (Social Security) your medical coverage will be taken care of. You have to act soon. Your son is also eligible for SSI. My advice is when the form is completed be very thorough. It makes a BIG difference.
