Hello I was diagnosed with breast cancer in November. Currently I am 8 months pregnant and undergoing chemotherapy. The doctors are hoping the tumor 2.7cm will shrink with the chemo and then they will perform surgery after the baby is born. (due date March 5, 2003) I found this group and thought that I would ask for your prayers for my unborn child and myself. I also have a two year old son. I am in my second week of my second cycle of chemo and I will have an ultrasound done on the tumor next Wednesday to see if the chemo is producing any results. If no results are found they will go ahead and do the surgery. (lumpectomy) Please pray that there will be some signs that the chemo is working against the tumor and that my baby will be healthy and make it through everything okay. Please also pray that I might defeat this cancer so that I may see my children grow up. Thank you for being here to help.
Sincerely,
Diana

You hang on there girl many have come before you who have made it through chemo and delivered healthy, happy babies. I am sorry you are having to deal with this at such a special time in your life. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family. I am glad you found this place and hope you find it useful to leave all you feel in post. I found it was helpful to finally be with women like myself who truly understand all that I was going through. Do all you can to keep postive and not worry.
    Be good to yourself always,
    Tara

Dear Diana, we welcome you with hugs and prayers! You've come to a site filled with so many loving women and very prayerful! Ahhh, the power of prayer. I trust God will take care of you and your baby, and remember as much as you love them, he loves all of you even more! God bless. hummingbyrd

Dear Lord, we ask in Your Son's name that You wrap this woman in Your loving arms. Pull her in close to You Lord, let her feel the strength, hope and peace that only You can provide. Lord surround her with your angels of mercy and healing. Keep your hand on her baby and keep him safe from any chemical effects. Let her have a healthy pregnancy with a safe delivery and Lord please rid her body of all cancer cells. I pray for her family Lord, that you give them the strength and positive attitude knowing that You are in control, and that Your will is the perfect will. Nothing happens by chance, we know You are always in control therefore we have nothing to fear, because we are your children and You love us so much. Give Diana the peace of mind that she needs and let her rest easy in Your grace. I ask all of these things in Christ' name. Amen.

I am sorry you are having to go thru all this, but I welcome you and am here to help if sometimes only in prayer, and to me that is the best gift anyone can give, so know you and your little angels are in my prayers.
Sometimes the chemo can get rough, but hang in there. Put your faith in the LORD and let HIM take care of you. Love, Hugs & Prayers...Flo
