I'm going into my 5th week since (bi-lateral) reconstruction and was told the saline implants would start to feel firm before softing and looking more like normal breasts. When I massage them the right one still has air and it actually squeaks. Has anyone else gone through all this? I also am still wearing a sport bra to keep them where they are suppose to be and so far they haven't drifted or dislodged. I just wonder how long before things go back to somewhat normal. Thanks for letting me sound off. Hugs, i

    Hello Iris!
Well, unfortunately I cannot help you with the implant thing... it is likely annoying just as I am annoyed at having muscles in my Tram that aren't calming down as they were supposed to! After chemo, things may change...
Anyway, I am intrigued by the squeaking!! I would surely have a blast with that!!! *laughs* I hope all goes well and remember.. "normal" is different for everyone! *smiles*
Hope everything works out beautifully for you!

    Be well!

    Hi Marty,
Thanks for responding. Doc said I'll sound like "Rubber Duckie" for a little while but it's okay..... I cleaned our breakfast nook picture window and all that arm movement made "The Girls" less tight. So now I have a clean window and happier "Girls"..who knew.
    Still laughing.
