Has anyone had trouble with the white blood counts rebounding or fluctuating months after the chemo -- my wbc never exceeded 5.8, usually stays between 3.5 and 4.0 and now is 2.3 (although I think I have a sinus infection). Just wanted perspective on others who may be experiencing this problem. As always, thanks for your help.

Gayle, if u have an infection and it is viral then your wbc will go down. I would rec repeating it in about 4 wks. Also see you GP if u don't have stomach ulcers, diabetes, hi blood pressure or heart disease they can give u a small dose steroid injection that will knock out the sinus infection and typically raise the wbc's. Hope this helps, Hummingbyrd0
