Swollen fingers/hands

I wrapped up ABVD treatment (12!) in July. In August noticed that my fingers were swollen, and, when I exercise, both hands blow up like balloons. My doc says it's just a side effect and will diminish. Anyone else deal with this? How long did it take? Thanks. (P.S. Have first post-treatment CT next week. Keep your fingers crossed.)

Meeeeee tooooo. Been over a year and all my rings needed to be sized up a whole size. I still retain water more than I used to, but hey... no biggie.0

I finished treatment in July of 2001, also 12 rounds. I was getting married that September and had to have my engagement ring taken up one size, but I refused to get the rest of my rings resized because my doc. also told me it was only temporary...going on two years later and some days I can't even get my wedding ring on, especially if I have been doing physical activity. It actually got so bad that my doc. sent me to a rheumatologist thinking I had arthritis... but I don't, thankfully! I don't mean to be discouraging... just thought I would let you know my experience...hope yours is better!0

I was diagnosed in 1978 and had 10 months of MOPP chemo. I didn't notice it at first but my hands and wrists swell painfully!! It has not gotten better. I found an over the counter that helped considerably but the company took it off the market and put out a new, "better" product that does no good. I e-mailed them about this but have recieved no reply. Suggestions?!?!0
