Radiation treatments over with

Well, I finished up my radiation treatments yesterday...YIPPEE! And I'm really none the worse for wear...a little burnt area under my arm and some dry skin. Doc told me to get Aquaphor. Sure has been a long year. I had gotten married only 3 months prior to finding out I had non-invasive DCIS....anyway, I'm on the road to a wonderful life and I wanted to thank all of you who have corresponded with me in the past. You are all wonderful people and I appreciate you. dharmal.

Hi dharmal,
You must have wondered like many of us do if we will ever get through it all. We do. I am so glad to hear that you are entering into the next fase of your life. I hope that you stay connected cause it seems that many others must follow down the same paths as we have. You and your husband can now build on the solid foundation you have found this past year and I wish you both the best. I found cancer changed everything but that doesn't mean it has been all bad. I am so grateful for so many things and not so sure I was that grateful before in fact just taking things for granted like most others.
Be good to yourself always,
