Flappers.... everything you may (or may not) want to know....
There were a LOT of things I discovered/saw/learned/experienced when I awoke from my mastectomy/reconstruction (TramFlap)... I want to make myself available and remind others periodically that I am here to tell what I know, what I've experienced thus far and so on.
My last visit with the plastic man, I said, "Hey, ye' know, I would have appreciated pics from *just* after the surgery so I could know what to expect, not just before and after everything's all pretty! *shrugs* Perhaps I am in the minority? I didn't ~realize~ that my belly button would be cut away/released from my abdominal skin and reattached afterward. No big deal, really.. but it would have been nice to have realized it in advance, ye' know? *cocks head*
Anyway... I am here. I'd love to be of help to anyone considering a Tram... Get me whilst I am still hot! (fresh out of it!) *wink*
Be well all!
Love,
Marty

Hi Marty I felt the same with the result my surgeon took lots of topless pics of me,lopsided boobs and all!He wants to use them for future patients, hope my flabby torso isn't to big a turn off. I certainly wont be topless sunbathing and I recon my pole/lap dancing days are over before they even get started.
Still if my ever so discrete faceless, topless photos help someone it will be worth it.
Hugs all round

*laughing aloud* Oh Liza! Yes.. I am always going on...even in my hospital bed... about my topless career and so on... *grin* The plastic man ~loves~ that! Heck, girl... we may have a unique niche out there just waiting for us! *teasing grin, wink*lizaboy said:Hi Marty I felt the same with the result my surgeon took lots of topless pics of me,lopsided boobs and all!He wants to use them for future patients, hope my flabby torso isn't to big a turn off. Hmm.. ye' know, *looks down at Babette*... I don't think I'll be averse to resuming my occasional topless sunbathing. My plastic man said that I should be careful 'til next year so that the scars won't darken too much... *shrugs* Now ye've got me thinking Liza! Eeeek! *wink*0 -
Hi again, my plasic man took pics before when all was loopsided and 1 when all done. I had seen the operation on the Health channel 3 times, I watched it close and knew exactly what the Doc was gonna do. New belly button is neat, I complimented him on the wonderful buttonhole stitch he sewed to put it back in place. Learned a whole lot. I still would do it again, better then no Babette at all. Right???
Take care...Emmi0
