    Hi Renee,I am 37 and a mother of three I went thru eight weeks of radiation for squamous cell carcinoma on my vocal cord I have been cancer free about a year and a half.When you start your radiation I would be happy to help with any questions about my experiance with it.I didnt feel any differant for about two weeks then I got tired they told me I would loose a lot of weight so I drank ensure which i didnt care for but I drank sweet tea and sipped very slowly on the pain medicine for me it worked better when i would almost gargle with it for a second before swallowing.It will go by faster than you think .Take care,Melissa (dec23re)purrmaliss@colla.com
