Hi, dear Judy, I found the best thing for children is to sit down with her and tell her everything. They worry more about what they don't know than about what they do know. Tell her you are worried, (she knows this), but that together the whole family is going to fight and win. Then give her some things you need her to do to help. Turn over the laundry, or the dishes or the beds to her. She needs to feel she is helping you and the whole family. Keep her in the loop. In past years, people thought they were "sparing" the children, that is not true. They hear bits and pieces and worry much more than if they know it all. Include her in your tears. I think honesty is so important. Of course you will scare her, but she is worried anyway, she needs to know exactly what is going on. This will make her feel you are a team, ready to do battle with the enemy. God keep you safe in his arms, many gentle hugs to you all, when you hear a soft rustle in the waiting room, it is all of us, your sisters, with you in spirit, praying and laying our hands on you.
