Has anyone else had this type of large b-cell lymphoma. How have things gone for you?

Hi my name is Lia. I am a 36 year old female. In September of 2000 I got diagnosed with exactly your type of cancer. The tumor was discovered in a chest x-ray. From there I two biopsy surgeries (the first one was not conclusive). In the beginning they thought that I had Hodgkin's so I started a chemo called Stanford V. Once the people at Stanford got a hold of my tissue they changed my diagnosis to NHL. I then started on chemo called "CHOPS" and Rutuxin (not sure if I am spelling that right). My chemo was completed on January 21. In February I started radiation-25 daily treatments to the chest and back. I finished treatment on March 19th--exactly six months to the day of my first chest x-ray. In late May they did a PET Scan on me and I am cancer free.
The treatment wasn't to bad. Dying wasn't an option for me. My oncologist was excellent and she never let me think for a moment that she wouldn't be able to get the cancer. In fact my whole medical team was excellent.
I'd love to talk to you. I feel like I have so many things to say and so many questions to ask you. Where do you live? Were are you in your diagnosis? Have you started treatment?
My e-mail is Melzmommy@yahoo.com. Please write me back.

    Good luck,
