Positive thoughts and prayers needed..PET scan 7/2

Breast cancer(lumpectomy) on 1/14/02 and NSCLC (upper left lobe removed) on 4/8/02. My recent CAT scan shows another 2cm nodule in my right lung. The PET scan is scheduled on 7/2. I would appreciate some positive energy and prayers sent my way. Thanks for all the support.

    I was hoping to hear from you. Of course you will be in my thoughts and prayers. Take a deep breath and go have a nice dinner when the test is done. My last CAT scan, to follow what they thought was a new nodule on the xray, was something I was doing on the way to a very nice dinner. Treat yourself well this week. Get a massage. They are my new favorite thing.

    You will be in my thoughts as you have your PET scan and await those results. Having so recently had somewhat similiar concerns (how can something else happen to me)I know it is difficult to remain positive about the scan results - but the scans do bring good news to us just when we need it.... NSCLC (upper left lobe removed) 2/14/02 T3N0M0. CT scan then shows enlarged lymph node - PET scan scheduled to follow up on CT scan - which is good because it saves having to perhaps endure a needle biospy on the breast lump needing further follow up after the ultrasound. PET shows no breast cancer & that the lung ca has been successfully eradicated. My mental energies shall be focused on your results to be as favorable as well.
