Breast Cancer in Jan. Lung cancer in April and now what else?

I can't believe this is happening again. I thought I was doing great after my lumpectomy in Jan 02 and then the removal of the left upper lobe of my lungs in April 02. The lung cancer was discovered through a routine xray for my breast cancer.
I just got the results from the CAT scan I had last week to check the other nodule in my right lung that was too small to diagnose. That is still too small to diagnose, but another 2cm nodule was found . Can't believe they didn't see it 4 months ago. Now I'm waiting for a PET scan and a biopsy date.
It's hard staying positive when so many roadblocks happens. Can't think the worse until after the scan . My husband has supported and encouraged me through my breast cancer and lung cancer, and will be there again for me. He has been my strength.

    Hi, Carolyn, I can't believe it either! Its just not fair! It is so hard to stay positive when you keep getting another punch. I am so glad for your dear hubby, I have one too. God bless 'em. Hang in there dear and know we are all with you every step of the way, maybe you can hear us rustle in the waiting room, in spirit we are all there, an army or sisters loving you and cheering for you.     Just hang in there, and I'm sure lots of prayers will go up for you.
    It is a great comfort to have a supportive husband, My hubby and I both have cancer and are fighting together, so far, so good.
    roadblocks, well we just have to get thru them, and take one day at a time.

    Thank you for your encouragement and support.It's a comfort to know that there are wonderful people here that cares. I will listen to all the cheering as I go through the tests.

    Hi Carolyn!! I'm sorry to hear that you are having to go through so much! You must be one tough cookie ... because God does not give us more than we can handle! Just keep thinking good thoughts! Enjoy your life and your awesome husband!!! I accepted a long time ago that these things are gonna happen ... out of my control ... so I just let them cut and snip and cut and snip until they are satisfied ... then I'm right back to coaching little league ball and beating off the boys that call on my daughter ... lol! You will definitely be getting lots of prayers and long distance hugs from NC!!!!

    Thanks for the prayers and good wishes. I'm hoping this incident doesn't mess up my plans for my trip to NY and Boston the first week in August. Was looking forward to it after surviving BC and lung cancer. Can only take one day at a time.

    We too are here for you Carolyn,
    Lean on that husband of yours and let him be your post. You have much to be grateful for even when so much hasn't gone your way. You can get through this just as you have faced everything before now. You know the drill and just resign yourself to whatever you need to do this time, to rid yourself of your cancer.
    You will never know why one person must face so much but we do. There often times aren't answers to questions we ask of ourselves but know there is hope for our future none the less.
    Be good to yourself and know your Sisters all here for you anytime you need to talk.
