Thanks Diane!!! I'll be glad to get it over with .. that's for sure. That is one of the best, most uplifting, sing-along songs ever! Plus, Travis Tritt is my most favorite singer in the whole world .... he's such a hottie!ksfc said:Angie - great attitude!! I love that song too! I'll be praying that it's an unhealed fracture and not those nasty mets...Diane
Thanks for your prayers and well wishes!!! hugs, angie0 -

Hi Angie,
Good Luck with the upcoming surgery. After my hysterectomy, I felt the pain was not as bad as some of the pain with my periods especially in the months before surgery.
Hope you have an easy time - and so thoughtful of you to tell us what's going on - as you said it could help someone else too.
Love, Jean0 -

Thanks for the well wishes!!! Like you, I didn't think the hyst. was so bad ... once they got the IV in right ... lol. I was back coaching my son's flag football team 3 days after the surgery....so I'm sure this bone thing won't keep me down too long. Again, thanks for thinking of me.

Hey Mary!!! A bone resection on me is where the surgeon goes in and removes a piece of bone in my rib that is suspicious for cancer. In my case, it is a 4 inch place ... and he's not putting the bone back together ... what is the deal with that??? lol Anyway, he said, according to my scans, it is 50/50 that it will be a metastisis from the breast cancer or an old fracture that didn't heal properly. I'm putting my money on the latter!!! I hope this answered your question, but if not, please write to me again and I will try to be more informative. : )mary20 said:Angie - I am new to this site and the terms that go along with cancer. I am not sure what bone resection is (I can only guess from what I read). Could you please inform me. Thanks and all of my prayers to you. Mary20
Now for my question ... you are new to this site? What is your situation? I'm just curious. WELCOME!!!! We are all here anytime you want to talk!!!!!

Now Angie, just think about it, what is the doc going to put back in? An old unsed coat hangar? Ha Ha, maybe Adam wants his rib back! Dear, dear, Angie, I hope you have a real easy time of it. On another site a sister who is a nurse wrote, "Just yell at the top of your lungs until you get ENOUGH pain meds!" Remember, just yell. We are all thinkinf of you and singing, "Annnngiiiee, how we love you, how we love you, our dear old Angie", sung to the tune of "Mammy". Oh well, a little humor is what we all need. Stay strong dear sister, and we are are praying for a swift recovery and good news. Hugs, Shirlannludasue said:Hey Mary!!! Thanks Debbie! I really don't expect it to be as bad as he made it sound ... ** crosses fingers **. It will take a lot more than removing a bone piece to keep me down. I've got an NFL player in training (he's 8) that I have to get busy working on as soon as baseball season ends...lol. Have a great day! Thanks for your thoughts and prayers! love, angiemaud said:God Bless you Angie you have such a positive attitude. I will be praying for you and also that you have a speedy recovery. Keep us posted on how you are doing.

Thanks a bunch, Emmi!!! I can't believe all the response I have gotten to my message. It makes it easy to have a good attitude knowing all the support I have from all my sisters here. Another of my favorite songs ... 'If we couldn't laugh we would all go insane' .... that's definitely a motto of mine. Thanks again for the well wishes and the prayers!!! love, angiebanker said:Hi angie, just want to wish you the best. I will keep you in my prayers. Let us know how you make out. Seems you have a good attitude and that is half the battle. Hang in there. Love Emmi
