Hello,
My name is Terri. I was diagnosed with stage 3 cervical cancer and was given a 30 to 40% chance to live. Are you in treatment now? I went through chemo, radiation and radiation implants. It was tough. But I have been cancer free for almost 2 1/2 years. The only thing I can say is don't give up and pray alot !!! If you need a friend i'm here for you. You can e-mail me personaly at maddiecam@hotmail.com keep smiling. Terri0 -
You certainly have support here!!! I got an email from another young person who is about your age, she has a similar situation. I am much older. Right now, I guess I am in relapse, but I often think about maybe it is creeping and crawling but they do not know. I have thought a lot about what I would do, but mostly I just do and do and do. My doc is good and I trust him, but I have thought about what I would do if it came back. I am not sure that I would want to spend the time I would have left in the hospital and more, more, radiation...I am not sure. I guess it would depend on the prognosis, I do know that I would still fight the good fight, but maybey I would fight by just packing in as much good times as I could. I am still recovering from my last surgery, a month ago, but I am going to visit my granddaughter in Tucson in a couple of weeks-NO MATTER WHAT. Then the next week I am camping and canoeing at a powwow. I got to get on with what good stuff I can. I hope you will fight by being as happy as you can even if you feel like a stepped on dog pile.
