Well ladies a Yippie for me no sign of cancer a relief. Yet this pain is getting to me. I am on to another round of meds to see if this can be controlled and here is hoping, been going on way too long. It appears I am just one of those girls that have there times with a few hurdles to get over. That is something I have considered this and only hope some new phase in their understanding will benefit me. I can hardly wait. Just wanted to let you all know so some will stop worrying, since that is something we often do, about each other. I finally feel like my pain is going to be addressed and most of all I feel like we are working together and I am being heard. Nothing worse than feeling like they wish you would go away, feeling like a bother instead of someone ensuring themselves of their health or little health however you want to look at it.
Thanks again for you all just being you,
Tara

Hi Tara! Great news! Now you can get your mind off the bad possibilities and work hard to get pain relief. There are so many good forms of long lasting medications. Have you tried Duragesic patches or oxycodone patches? We use them alot in the nursing home with pain and get great results with almost no side effects. Good luck in your pain relief. Keep us up on your progress. HUGS!! Cathy

Cathy it seems that my pain isn't necessarily in one area so they don't think the patch will be that successful. I appreciate all your suggestions believe you me I have had to use a few of yours along the way. thanks again

    Hi Tara,

I am thrilled that there is NO Sign of Cancer. HOwever, I know the frustration of pain and am glad that they are addressing it. You might want to ask about ULTRAM. It is a baby opiod that is not suppose to be habit forming. The dosage can be adjusted for your pain. Before my bone mets got out of control, I found great relief in Ultram. I only took it at night in the beginning as my body adjusted to it. I would have an out of body type experience. However, after about a month my body adjusted and I was able to take it during the day as well. I started on a really low dose that brought a lot of relief and then as pain increased we were able to adjust it for continued relief.

When is everyone meeting in the chat room?

    Love, hugs and prayers!

I don't know if anyone wants to but I will be in most mornings around 7-8 if any ones to come and chat. There have been some newbies who I have met in chat room. I find if you want to chat just sit in there and usually someone pops in for a chat. The ladies are also using other chat room on another site. Kat hope to chat with you soon,
