It may be back

I am 29 years old, I was diagnosised with breast cancer last year. I had a mastectomy and 8 rounds of chemo. Finally, I thought it was all over. Thought I could have my life back with my husband, 4 year old daughter and 2 year old son. Well, I found another lump, on the same side as the mastectomy. Therefore, the nightmare has started again. I am having a harder time dealing this time. Sometimes, I just feel that if I go things will be better. My husband and my kids can get on with life and not have to live everyday with mommy being sick. I am so tired. I don't know that I can do this again. why is this happening. What do I do?

I'm sure your husband and kids want you with them as long as possible, sick or not. This must be such an awful time for you. What do you do? Have you considered getting counseling? It's helped me a lot. Stress can make you depressed by changing the chemistry in your brain, so you may be feeling so very badly just because of biological reasons. (I'm talking about the feeling that your family would be better off without you.)
You will be able to do this again. Once again, you'll find that you're stronger than you think. Don't lose hope.0 -
I know how u feel, the only thing I can say is just pray and ask God to give u that enter peace that u did to make it through the day. always think happy thoughts and spend as must time as u can with ur family. I will be praying for you. LOVE YOU and u will make it, GOD has a plan for u.0

I know the fear that is taking over you. I had skin cancer on my vulva and now have found a new spot. I didn't have to go through chemo, but I am sure that was hard. My recommendation is that you remember why you are improtant in your family's life. I know it IS NOT because you are a healthy person, and I know that it IS because you are a loving person who has given so much of herself to them because she would do just about anything for them. I also know that they know it, too. I think that during the times of stress that you are facing, you must remember that your family needs your love throughout their entire lives (also use this as an opportunity to get pampered and get your way as much as possible). I think that you must use your mental powers to get this to go away and never to return. You have many positive forces surrounding you. Use those positive, strong things to draw strength from. Know that the positive is in our lives on purpose. It is the little things that you must focus on and be grateful for every blessing that is present. Acknowledge the wonder of those babies and your beautiful husband. Life has the bad things too, but they become diminished as we force the negative, bad forces away. We do that with prayer, staying healthy, and keeping positive. This lump is a chance to show what your inner strength really looks like (not that it hasn't before)! Know that catching it at this time is a good way to make sure it is gone forever. Good luck!0

"Yesterday is history. Tomorrow is a mystery. Today is a gift. That's why it is called the PRESENT! author unknown
Each day is a present for you (me)and your family. Everyone is just as frightened as we with cancer are. You sound as if you have a grasp on life.
It (cancer) and life happens to us all for a reason and should I not be cured I plan to fight and do as much golfing as I can.(FYI. my wife has now beaten me the last 12 times out -- no pity on her part)
God bless and hang in there.
