Condsider this my ode to my cousin a women I have known, part of the family as long as I can remember. I could never get over how much she looked like my own grandmother yet she wasn't a blood relative. She was diagnosed before I was and then had a reoccurance that swept through her. She was an amazingly strong woman who lived long beyond what the medical community every thought possible. Yet she did and right to the end. Somone told me today that she really wasn't gone instead she was now apart of my team being there for me every step of the way and you know what I think we all have our teams, makes her loss mean something instead of just being a loss to so many. Thank God she is at peace and I will think of her as a true survivor.

    Thanks for sharing !
Tara, I love to think that our loved ones , in heaven or in distant countries, remain part of our team ! You know, bodies get hurt, and eventually they all die. But I strongly believe spirits are eternal, and love is eternal. There is such an energy in loving ! That energy can link us together even after death. I don't believe it, I KNOW it.

And you've got quite a team on your side, my friend : all your loved ones, and us here. We love you !

    Take good care,
    Cathy

I'm just new to this group, and just read your post. You were so lucky to have your cousin, and she, you. By writing about her, you have celebrated her life, and that is so important. I'm sorry you had to physically lose her, but she remains in your heart and memory forever. God bless!
