Hi Pam,
I would love to talk to you sometime on this. I have been seeing a chinese medicine specialist. Right now he is just giving me massages and working on positive thinking, but I am very interested in all the herbs and vitamins once my treatment is done. He believes the two types of medicine should go hand in hand and work together. Since the BC rates are so low in the Asian countries I believe what they are doing must be working. I am just willing to do anything to fight this nasty disease so it will not return. I would love your thoughts on this!
Thanks alot0 -
Hi. The reason Asian countries have such a low incidence of BC is their diet. They have very low animal products & low fat. Plus they have lots of fibre from vegetables. It has been found that as soon as they come west & adopt a western diet their incidence of BC rises to the normal rate. Pretty convincing. So our diet is paramount to helping us not get it in the first place. Whether we can use diet to get rid of it is another thing. But I strongly believe in herbal medicine as an addition to conventinal treatment & take 2 products. Both by Nature's Way. One is CellMend & the other is MycoDefense (based on chaga mushroom an old American Indian cure for cancer). Both products are supposed to stimulate killer T cells & to help prevent new tumour production. I have also cut down on dairy & red meat. Don't know if it will work but like you I am prepared to try anything to beat this.nocarb1 said:Hi Pam,
