Update on lilmermaid
The weather has not been very good but it sure beats being up north.
I went through a cat scan before I came down and the Dr. called me down here but I was not home. He did leave a message but I was not clear about everything he said. He did say I would be going on hormonal treatment but I am not clear if I will be starting a new chemo when I go back. I have been off of chemo since Jan. 18 and it feels wonderful. It would be great if I could stay off chemo for a while. I am so sorry to hear about Rosa's death. She truly was an inspiration to us all. I have liver mets also. I know what she went through. She was a fighter. Talk to you soon.

Dear Sylvia;
I was hoping to hear from you since I have realized we haven't heard from you in awhile. I am so glad you are through the AC and your body and spirit are getting a rest. The hormonal treatment could be Tamoxifen. I think the Tamoxifen and Herceptin together had a bigger impact on my liver mets than the toxic stuff did. My liver is clear for now anyway. Think about us as the sun gets hotter in Florida. I really can't complain, it was 72 here today--just an absolutely beautiful day. God bless you.

Hi Sylvia - Glad you are doing good and recuperating down here in Florida. I am also down here for the winter. What part of Florida are you in? I am on the east coast at Palm Bay. I also love it down here, because it beats the winters up north. Enjoy the warm weather we are now getting.

Hi Sylvia,
It sure feels good to hear from you ! I hope you will have a wonderful time in Florida, and maybe the weather will start improving soon. Here in Switzerland it has been quite warmish lately, the snow has melted except on the higher mountains. People are actually upset because it means less skiing ! I don't ski so I don't mind one way or the other.
Sending you lots of warm thoughts and hugs,

Hi Lucy, I'm visiting my sister who has a condo for the winter in Lauderdale by the Sea. The weather has been wonderful for the last 4 days. Been in the ocean which is right across the street and in the pool for the las 4 days. Took the water bus up the intercoastal late Saturday afternoon and ate at Shirttail Charlie's. Came back by water bus. The ride back at night was just as beautiful as the ride up during the day. I'm really enjoying my self. I really needed this vacation. Glad to hear from you.lucy said:Hi Sylvia - Glad you are doing good and recuperating down here in Florida. I am also down here for the winter. What part of Florida are you in?
