As The Year Draws To An End

2001 has been a life changing year for me. On New Years Eve I will complete my radiation treatments and start the new year free from cancer. Since being diagnosed in June I feel that I have lived a double life. One as a patient and another as the person. I'm hoping that at the end of this year I will emerge a new person, with the awareness and knowledge of what having cancer brings, to becoming that enlightened soul. My growth this year has been in miles. Reading all the messages of support that pass from each of you to others continues to fortify my belief in the goodness and kindness of others. The simple things are now what mean the most to me.
Here's wishing you all a happy and healthy holiday season.
