I have a tissue expander in place and will have my surgery to place the implant in early December. my PS is recommending that I have the other breast lifted at that time. Anyone who has done this? I'm looking for advice!

Sue,
I had reconstructive surgery 8 years ago. I had the other breast lifted also. I can tell you 8 years later I'm glad I did. I still look great. It keeps everything symmetrical. The surgery is nothing compared to what you are already experiencing. I had to have my expander done 3 times because of complications, but I'm glad I perservered. The boost to my self-image was worth it. I didn't want to be defined by the cancer, but I wanted to define it.
Good luck in December. You will do well.
God Bless,
Kathy0
