taxol#3

going in for taxol #3 today, can't say as I like it much, but it has been managable..my feet were swollen for a week , but haven't had any tingling,just the aches and pain everyone else is experiencing...Felt much more fatigued than I have so far.I think that when I project my fears into the future, is when I get into trouble...such as what if it gets worse?..what if the pain doesn't stop?...blah..blah..blah...
I've decided to praise God that it is manageble today and leave tomorrows worries alone...hope you all have nice days too....lindy

    Will be sending good thoughts your way today - wow! #3. I'm just coming around after #1. You're right - the 'what if' thoughts are the worst.

    Dear Lindy:
    I can sympathize with Taxol having had 7 treatments after 6 of Taxotere!!! There is life after Taxol, and the pain does go away--so just hang in there! Remember--do not worry about tomorrow because God is already there!

    I'm just through Taxol #1 and my oncologist gave me glutamine. Unfortunately, they didn't tell me to keep taking the stuff if I had any of the needles and pins, and joint pains which they tell me will help.
