Rediagnosis?

Hi, I was diagnosed in 1994 with papillary thryoid cancer, had a total thyroidectomy follwed by one dose of radiation therapy. During the past six years I had two full body scans turning up negative. I moved to California a year and a half ago and with my new endocrinologist, I had my third body scan done which, according to the radiologist, showed a metastatic tumor in my pelvic bone. Instead of following his advice to immediately have a second dose of radiation, I went back to the East Coast and to my old physician. I had another body scan performed using thyrogen injections, and according to this scan, I do not have a reoccurrence of my thyroid cancer. If anyone knows of any info that might help me make sense of this, please let me know, or email me a rfshdw@hotmail.com. I would love to talk about anyone's similar experiences. Hope everyone is doing well, I-ling
