Hello my name is becky and I am a breast cancer survivor. I have been done with my treatments for almost one year. I would like to talk to people who have gone through the same things I have.

    Hi Becky,
This site allows you to search for others who have gone thru your similar treatment regimens. For instance, you could input your age and whether you are in treatment, post treatment or recurrence. It will then search thru the registered breast cancer survivors and give you a list of women with similar experiences. You can also click on the "Author" of any post and read their personal website if they have prepared one. I am almost 3 years out from my original surgery (lumpectomy, then chemo) and am doing fine though I still have followups every four months. After August I will "graduate" to 6 months!! Welcome to this site, you will find it very supportive.

    Hi Becky:
Tell us more about you. What type cancer did you have and what treatments did you have? People range in age all over the place here - some have babies of their own - others have grandbabies. The cancers range from Stage I through Stage IV. So any advice you need or would like to share will be welcomed. I don't believe this site has been on line very long, so we are all still close in our treatments. It has been a year for me and several others I know of; so feel free to 'jump right in'. We are all in this fight together, and must support each other as best as we know how. God bless you.
