Living again!!
Its been awhile sence I wrote. I am doing great. I finished my last radition treatment yesterday. It felt so good. Now I go see my radition Doctor in a month to see how the burn is doing , plus my oncology Doctor every 3 months.
It is such a relief to know I do not have to go in every day.
I am staying positive and moving on. I am back to work but just a few hours a day for now. I so missed my clients. It is so good to be with people again. Not having to worry about being around people that are sick. Its great to be the one to be able to take care of others then just yourself.
I have to cut it short but want you all to know your in my prayers and stay positive.
Many hugs to you all Leanne

Hi Leanne, Congradulations on your "finished treatment". It has been a long road for all of us and only we who have walked it will understand. You mentioned having your burns checked. How bad did the radiation burn you? I am in the 3rd week of radiation and other than a little swelling in the nipple, I see no signs of any change. Stay in touch with the site, others will benefit from your experience. Love to you, Nancy0

My burn was bad. Nice and bulbbly. I did not get it untill my last 2 weeks of treatment. Nothing worked. When it was over for that area I put some Vasline Intensive Care lotion , the Advanced Healing with Vit. E. Cleared it right up in about 3 days. What a relief. Hope you dont burn. Its bad enough to have to go through all this and to top it off.. it burns you. But I am very light completed thats why. Others did not do a thing too. So all depends on you and your skin type. Will keep you in my prayers. Take care and many hugs to you leanne.0 -
Congratulations, Leanne! I am so happy for you! It must be such a "free" feeling! I just had my 5th out 6 chemo's yesterday. May 24th will be my last, then about 6 weeks will be finishing up my reconstruction of both breasts (yeah! I finally get my implants!). Anyway, glad you are able to get back to work and back to LIFE again.
God bless you. You will be in my prayers.
