would love to correspond with other caregivers for support encouragement etc. I'm also a good listener!

Hi, I am also a caregiver. My husband has both colon and liver cancer. I know what you are going through. When he was in the hospital, I would come home and fell like I was completely alone. I went to bed many nights in tears and now, as I am writing this, I have tears in my eyes. I almost lost my husband Dec 13th because his bowel shut down after his surgery on the liver. I had 3 days of pure terror when he was in CCU. I lived at the hospital. I guess it takes a special kind of person to go through what we do. You live the highs and the lows that your loved one, friend or whoever, is going through. Ever time my husband has a blood test done before his treatments, I wait to see if everything is alright. Please, fell free to write any time about anything. shirley8310
