Hi Everyone,
I am doing fine. I have 15 more radition treatments and I will be done with that. Cant wait!!!
Now if only I could loose the weight it would be great. I had a weight problem before I got Cancer and still I have it. It never went aways...lol.
I belong to TOPS a weigth group. The meeting is tonight and I hope I lost or at least maintained. This group has been a support as well for me. Gives me something else to think about instead of Cancer. Except when I found out I had Breast Cancer another person also found out he had a Cancer in his blood. He only had to have 6 AC and he is in remission. Then there was another person in a different group that had a mess in her intesting and once they opperated and took it out..that was it. She was all done. She was very lucky. She needed no raidition no nothing. It was a blessing from God for her. Its wired how once you get it, then it seems everyone has it. I feel its GOD way of letting us know we are not alone in this fight and we have each other for support.
Well I have to cut this short and get ready for my appointment.

    Hey Leanne, I did not have radiation but I know that with my Taxol I packed on 40 lbs, which is a real bugger to loose. I am not even going to try until my last Taxol. I was fine at first, but then the bloating sets in.I am not eating alot, actually less than usual, I am the worlds biggest junk food lover, but I find that I still bloat. My face yesterday was semi-normal, and today i look like a chipmunk!! I am going to my Dr tommorrow for a checkup, my hands and feet are always freezing, and my legs are getting weak, and my left arm is hurting and swollen, I cannot even sweep because of the pain. I think it is probably all related to the Taxol, I had session number eight last Tuesday, and then my last one(hopefully) On April 23. Geez, how much chemo can a person take before they start glowing? And of course this morning i mopped the floors and decided to water my plants before the kitchen floor was dry, I was walking across the floor with a large pitcher of water,then damned if I did not slip and boom, went crashing down like a ton of bricks. I was laying on the floor face down trying not to cry and my three year old comes out to see If I was ok, then runs off crying because he got scared, but my nine year old is still in his bedroom, farting around, finally he calls out" are you ok?" I said no!! I would hate to be with him in an emergency!!!
    Ah well, I scraped my knee to hell and my hip is killing me, but I still must go shopping tonight!!!!
    I hope you do well with your treatments, and remember, it is better to be overweight and healthy than scrawny and sickly!!!

    I needed that pep talk. I just got back from my weight group and gained 2 1/2 pounds. Might be bloating then anything. I see the Doctor tomorrow for a check up and I need to talk to him about a few things. It was wired today after my treatment... I got to my moms house and I felt so shaky like my blood suger was low or something. Had it happen one time before but was not during radition treatment!! Have you or anyone else ever expirenced it?? I did'nt eat anything less then normal. Who knows these days. I will let you know how it comes out tomorrow if the Doctor can tell me anything.
    Sorry to hear that you fell and hurt yourself. It sucks when that happens. And no I would not want your son around if there is an emergency. Specialy if its relly bad. Hope you feel better soon. Let me know how your Dr's visit goes and I will do the same for you. Take care, Your in my prayers.
