Need your help

Ladies. My breast surgeon found two masses in my right breast, reconstructed, underneath the incision line. He thinks that they are probably just surgical changes; however, due to the fact that they were not there two weeks ago when he examined me in regular followup, and the fact that my original cancer was extremely fast growing, I am having a biopsy on Monday. Please keep me in your prayers, light candles, do dances, cross fingers, toes, eyes, or whatever. I truly need a lot of help right now. Jane

    Dear Jane. Of course we will be praying for you. After what the power of prayer did for Tiger how can we fail!! The masses will probably be surgical lesions so try not to worry (ha ha some hopes I know). Thinking of yu and crossing everyhting etc as suggested. Love & hugs. Pam

    Jane, I have a good feeling in my gut that it is just post surgery buildup. I dont see how anything can grow that quickly in two weeks!!! I wish my hair would grow that fast!!! I will help you visualize and say a prayer, I have a house full of candles, I will light them tonight and do the naked cancer be gone dance!! Now there is a pretty picture!!! NOT!!!

    Jane, Thank God you have a surgeon who is really on top of things. Pray that God will provide him the wisdom to get you back on the road to recovery. Will be praying for you. Have lots of candles around too, since I live in California!! Margaret

    Dear Jane: Don't be afraid of it. I also had an terrible experience. About 4 years ago, my oncologist told me that my X-ray exam showed that my lung has "something strange", so he arrange the CT scan for me. The result proofede to be OK! I have no recurrence on my lung. Sometimes we shocked by the results of follow-up, but finally there was nothing happened. I can understand your mood now for I had the same experience. I'll praying for you, God is awesome! Trust God and be brave, then everything will be fine!!

    Jane, yes, I think two weeks is too fast for it to be anything serious. I got a fright last weekend with swelling and pain in my surgicalized (there's a new one!) breast, but it turned out to be nothing. but i do have strange lumps underneath incision, and they are nothing too. I will watch for news. Leave today for last chemo tomorrw, but snowing heavily, so roads are a big concern. I will make it there come hell or high water....couldnt entertain the idea of a delay...patience not my long suit...in fact, I dont think I have any cards in that suit! It's my birthday today, I am 56, going on 36. First without my mom and dad. That is hard. Take care, Susa

    Thanks for you concern and wishes. Ordinarily I would not be concerned, but my original tumor was very fast growing. It was not palpable in January 1999 but in February 1999 it was palpable, the size of a walnut. By the time it was removed in March it was almost 6 cm, there were three tumors and two primaries. But I am believing that it is postsurgical changes. After all, I really don't see how anything could have survived the chemo and the radiation too. Nasty stuff. The first anniversary without your parents has to be extremely hard. My heart goes out to you. I am blessed. My mother is still with me. She is 91, has most of her faculties even though her memory is beginning to go. My dad died of a heart attack when I was 16. And -- Happy Birthday. Continue to feel in the mid-30s. Wonderful age. I am 62 going on 35 most of the time. Again, thanks. All of you ladies are so important to me. You have become my extended family. Love. Jane

    Hey Jane, I am glad that I could make you smile. It makes me feel even stronger when I know that I am helping someone else.
    Let us know as soon as you hear anything. Meanwhile, I will continue to do the naked dance for you, my husband loves it!!!!

    Hi Jane, I will certainly keep you in my thoughts & prayers. Think positive thoughts and know that we will all be thinking of you & sending our best wishes. Hope you had a great birthday. I know the lose of parents is hard. I lost my Dad 7 years ago, he was 65. It seems any holidays are hard. good luck to you. Judy
