radiation

I am an 18 year old girl who underwent 6 weeks of radiation. I was under the impression that this would be fairly easy. I WAS WRONG!!! Plenty of rest is a surefire way though to see your way through the treatment. I would like to hear from anyone who has suffered from epithelioid sarcoma _ it is a extremely rare type of cancer and as i live in the uk there are very few cases. Any advice would be very much appreciated.unknown said:This comment has been removed by the Moderator

Hi, My husband who is 31 years old was diagnosed just recently with Epithelioid sarcoma. They did surgery and removed the tumor. Now it seems like a waiting game to see was is going to happen next. The told him he would be seen every three months at OHSU in Portland and do routine pet scans MRI's and cat scans. What have doctors told you about this type of cancer? I know that it very rare, This whole thing just freaks us out, we don't know what to expect next.I hope to hear from you soon.saramac said:I am an 18 year old girl who underwent 6 weeks of radiation.
