I need your prayers

Hi ladies, Tiger here, I am going for my cat scan tomorrow morning, would you all please say a little prayer for me? I am not going to get my hopes up, but will keep thinking positively.Your thoughts and prayers will help tremendously.

Hi gang, thank you for your thoughts and prayers, they really help to ease the tension I am feeling right now. How long do you normally wait before you get test results? I am supposed to wait until next Wednesday,thats 8 bloody days!!!! I am going to call my onco nurse and ask if my onco can get a verbal report from the radiologist. This is enough to drive a person insane!!!! I will let you know as soon as i find anything out.

Go get 'em Tiger. I hate the waiting. Each day seems to be at least a month long. I went to my breast surgeon today and passed him with flying colors. He could find nothing resembling a tumor in my chest and it's been 22 months. So, I know you will have good news too. Jane

Hi Tiger ~~ Your name really fits you! Keep that fighting spirit and positive attitude - that's the best thing you can do! I had a bunch of scans done in May, and the wait AFTERWARDS was the hardest part. Those fears just consumed me and drove me crazy! So try to NOT think about it and relax (even though it is difficult!) I would call anyone you can to move the process along, too. Couldn't hurt!

I will pray for you today, Tiger. I will pray for peace especially, because these are hard days having to wait. I find great comfort in knowing that "with Him all things are possible!" Please let us know when you hear anything! luv -- Jody

Hi Tiger

SO very sorry I missed your first post about the tests. Hubby & I grabbed a few days away before he goes back to work. I pray for you every night anyway but if I'd known about the tests I would have doubled my poor efforts. The waiting is awful & 8 days seems terrible. I know the protein marker tests take a few days but he/she should be able to give you the results of the CT almost immediately. My onco has the radiology reports next morning & he would ring if there was a problem. Still every country has it's own ways. SO I will keep my fingers & everything else crossed (could be a bit of problem there with walking etc.!!!). Post to us all as soon as you know anything. I have my next check up 31 January and CT scans the weeks after that.
Just to make you all feel bad we have had a bit of a heat wave here & it has been a problem getting cool. Hubby & I went to east coast Pacific beach resort for a couple of days & just vegged out. Wonderful!!Love & hugs and thinking of you my friend. Pam

You've got a great team of prayer warriors here and you should find much comfort in that. My 4 month check up turned out great and it's been 30 months for me. Isn't it amazing how closely we monitor the days now. May He make His love known to you. Margaret

I am so happy to hear that you are all doing so good, Pam,sounds like you could use some of our snow down there to cool things off a bit!! I am happy that everyones test results are so positive, it gives me hope and puts my mind at ease. When I beat this it will be because I had you all to support me,and pray for me and listen to me whine. You all have a piece of my heart,I love you ladies,as corny as that sounds, I have come to know you all by name, and consider you my family.

Hi Tiger! It's Maggie, just read your post and praying that your scan is ok. You should be able to get the results on that in a day or so. Go ahead and call, waiting the 8 days will just drive you insane. Take care , Maggie

Hi tiger, it's Judy. You always have such positive thoughts for everyone.You are a real inspiration to us all. I will keep you in my prayers. I wish you the best. I know the waiting is the hardest. When I had my biopsy they couldn't tell for sure on it, it was so small. They had to send it off to MDAnderson & I had to end up waiting for two weeks. I was a basket case. Good luck. Judy

They should have the results the next day if not that day. Unless of course you live in some way out of the place podunk town. Little old Pocatello, ID Bannock Hospital had my first results right away and my onco called me straight away in 2 days.

Hi Rosa,
I am so sorry to be so late getting back to you. I pray all went well.
I had port implant surgery Monday and chemo tuesday and my darling
hubby kept me riding around all day both days so I wouldn't worry.
