News From Pat Sharkey

Great news. I have heard from Pat. She was hospitalized for her 2nd chemo & has had a real bad time. She is home now (released just before Christmas) but only after a tough ride. She is having doubts about going on so she needs all our help ladies. By the way just to annoy you all. It is really really hot here today. I can't get cool & as tumors are pressing on my spine I can only sweat down one side. I have a red side to my face & the rest is white. Looks funny but at least Im improving. Love & hugs to all & remember Pat. She is feeling exhausted & probably won't write to all but at least she has come through.

    Hi Pam ~~ Being new, I do not know Pat but my heart is going out to her. Please send her my thoughts and prayers. They are with you, too, as you sound uncomfortable. If it is any consolation to you, it is FREEZING here in PA and we have too much snow! ~~J

    You say she probably won't write, but will she read?

    I often find it impossible to type when my fingers shake(not a C problem)
    but will read messages then a lot.

    Let me know so I can write to her if she can get on computer to read.

    Thanks Ellen. You can keep it. We have forest fires here & in the prime vineyard area too!!! Oh no! Wine will be scarcer this year. Very hot & sticky here in Auckland. Saw the snow & ice reports from Texas, Arkansas area on CNN. Thought it didn't get that cold that way. Glad to see the Vikings made the playoffs. Hubby & I are great NFL fans & always tape the Sunday & Monday night games to watch. He is a Rams fan I am 49'ers. (sob they are doing so poorly now).
