Hi Sheri, Welcome to the group. I just read your post and I want to say "Hang in There" there is light at the end of the tunnel. You really do have allot to deal with right now, as if cancer isn't enough, I think all the other distractions help us to deal with the shock of cancer. My life too was turned topsy turvy when I was diagnosed, and I do think it helped me to cope. Be honest and open with your boys, I also have to boys and it was very hard to tell them but I found they needed to know exactly what to expect and I always let them know they could ask me anything that was on their minds. Maybe you could find a Faith based group to help you and visit this site often, this group will not let you down. I wish you all the best with what ever treatments are ahead of you and in your personal life also, I will keep you in my prayers. Murphy0

Thanks so much Murphy. I appreciate your words of kindness and encouragement. It seems like something good has got to happen soon...I am keeping the faith that it will! Mom is coming into town next week, and I know her presence will be a great comfort to me and my boys.murphy said:Hi Sheri, Welcome to the group. Sheri, Good for you, I know it is not always easy to stay positive but that is your best defense, you know the saying "In every cloud, there is a silver lining" I really believe that, sometimes we must be patient and sometimes we must look hard but something good always comes out of something bad. One step at a time, one day at a time. You will find allot of encouragement here on this site. All the best. Murphysherij said:Thanks so much Murphy. Hello Sherri, When I first found out about my cnacer, I happened onto this site. This group of positive, supportive women has kept my sanity and my outlook on level ground. I got on this site every night and when I look back to read some of the things I wrote, I am a little embarrassed because some of my posts are silly. I have made good friends here with people that seem more like members of my own family. We all understand what you feel. We feel just the same things you feel. You will get through this, with support from your extended family and with prayer. GOD is the best listener you will ever talk to. Talk to him often and ask for inner peace and acceptance, HE WILL GIVE IT TO YOU. Stay in touch with us. Glad mom is there, mom always makes us feel a little better. Your friend, Nancy0
