I recently underwent Rituxin and can tell you that you will fell as though you have a severe cold or the flu. If you can get by this, and your lucky it will work and reduce the lumps, and get you in rem.

I must be lucky. The first time I got Rituxan, I felt a little nauseous but after all subsequent treatments I felt fine. I even went out on an extended shopping trip after one with no problems whatsoever.

Hi: I am just new to network and noticed that you have taken rituxin. After the fludarabin ceased to give me successful remissions (after almost 4 yrs.), I was put on Rituxin with the 50/50 chance of success. That was 4 mo. ago so apparently something is working but am curious as to potential longevity of drug as it has just been recently introduced to us in Canada. Any help or advice will be appreciated. Thankyou and all the best. Doug Fisher, Ont. Ca.

I am currently facing the decision now to take Rituxan in conjunction with the Luekeran I had previously been using.

My Oncologist wants me to take oral Luekeran and have IV Rituxan. Not sure what I am going to do at this point but I was diagnosed in July 2002 with Small Cell Lymphoma, and Chronic Lymphocitic Luekemia, Stage 4. The cancer is throughout my whole body with a lot of bone pain also.

I to am looking for people who have taken or are taking Rituxan and what they experienced while taking it and what they experienced afterwards. So Far I have used the oral Luekeran and had pretty good luck except with the last treatment.

I did 180 days of oral Luekeran and it did reduce tumor size's very well but I also had my spleen removed and 4 liters of fluid drained off my right lung afterwards. It's been about six months or a bit more since my last treatment and I think the tumors are starting to grow again but will know more when I talk to the oncologist.

I am very interested in feedback on Rituxan though so anyone with any use experience please pass it on I am running out of time to decide what to do. Aslo has anyone else had experience with this new method of treatment using chemo with Rituxan treatment?

I see a couple entries here but with very different results. Did anyone taking Rituxan have breathing problems? Or any other symptoms. To be quite frank it scares the hell out of me because of the possible death issue that never came with my chemo treatments.

I wish the best outcome for everyone and God be with you all.
