Hi,
Are you currently taking any ADT drugs? Could be at 83 there are other things that could make you tired. Like jc5549 said, discuss it with your Urologist.

artie,
I repeat that you should also get a set of routine lab tests. Although your tiredness may well be due to low T, there are several other possibilities.
I gather that you are not on degarelix any more. True?
PS: many doctors would not be willing to prescribe testosterone supplements for a patient who had prostate cancer.

Since Testosterone feeds PCa cells and promotes their growth, it is always a risk for a PCa survivor to take Testosterone supplements or direct injections. In your case at 83 years of age, I can envision a PCa survivor looking at the risks in a different light, perhaps even considering that action as a roll of the dice.
I would suggest having a lengthy conversation with a Medical Oncologist, so that you have the benefit of all available information, and can make an informed decision for your own case.

That is correct. Many doctors will not prescribe TRT for a patient such as you.
I mentioned QOL before; that is very personal of course. You also need to consider how long you want to live. I believe that the average life expectancy for an 83-year old is about 6 years, but this depends obviously on your overall health. But if you want to 'make it' to 100 for instance; that's a big difference in how to approach the issue at hand.
