Hi @michael1601 , sorry you find yourself here. Some questions…
Why did you have radiation following your surgery? Did they find positive margins? Or was it already planned?
Did you have a PSMA PET?

Hey there,
There is no way to answer your question on this blog, only your Urologist and Radiation Oncologists will be able to determine if your response to the radiation is appropriate. It is common to have a detectable PSA after radiation, however, they need to follow how low it goes, and how stable it is at that level.Your doctors will know what your prior disease grade and stage, compare to your most recent PSA, and determine if you are finished with treatments.
As always in prostate cancer, there never seems to be simple answers.
Good luck, my friend,

Michael,
I had very similar. My PSA is about the same, now 3 years post radiation, as it is the expected minimum. Your Radiation Oncologist will give you the best status updates. See also your Urologist as he requires, for functional Q&A, advice and issues. Since you are only a few months out, just relax and take care of yourself. Reach out if you want to chat or share a thought.

Hi,
If you had your Prostate removed and then radiation followed, I would think your PSA should be less than .1 three months later. If you had some type of procedure but not removed then radiation the .25 might be OK. Follow up with your doctor team to see if there is some reason why your PSA is .25. A PMSA PET scan might be in order looking for cancer areas outside your Prostate if your Prostate was removed.
