Working out
I'm coming up on two months after my Prostatectomy and I see my Urologist
on Jan 10th, 2025.
My questions for you guys.
1. Have any of you been riding your bicycles any issues?
2. Do Any of you ride dirt bikes with any issues?
I've only been walking and NO GYM at all!
Note: I'm 66

I was thinking of asking a similar question. I am 6 months post surgery and still feel uncomfortable just sitting on a bike (street bike) or even a stationary bike. I know there are seats made that dont put pressure on your tender area, so looking for recommendations on what brand/type people have had experience with.

One week out from my prostatectomy. My surgeon said 5-6 weeks for bicycling. Also got similar advice from a well regarded surgeon who is also an avid cyclist. The cycling surgeon recommended starting on a trainer so you can quit anytime you begin to feel discomfort and not to over do it initially.
Been riding the same style Selle Itiala Flite saddle for three decades. Hope I don’t have to do the long search for a new style of saddle.

Just a brief update: I've been going to the gym and doing really light stuff on the machines. I also did a little surfing. The waves were really small but perfect for the first time out in months. Nov 14, 2024, was my surgery.
No pain!!!
Good info he has a few videosRadical prostatectomy recovery, six days post surgery, what I learned
