Perneal pain pre-erection, post orgasm

in Prostate Cancer #1

Diagnosed with prostate CA in November 2024. PSA over the past 2 years were 4.49, 5.12, 5.8. Diagnosed with stage 1 after biopsy. Will complete rad therapy next week.

Mild symptoms thus far…urinary retention, burning with urination. My primary concern is severe pain 6/10 after ejaculation. Ibuprofen 800 mg helps with residual discomfort, but the pain just prior to erection and severe pain post orgasm, is concerning.

Anyone care to discuss?

    Hi,

    Sounds like it could be a side effect from your radiation treatments. Hope it is temporary, you should tell your Oncologist what’s going on. One way of relieving the pain temporarily is don’t ejaculate for a few weeks and see if the pain goes away.
