Treatment Decision

So I was finally able to get in and see a second Urologist in August. He has been treating patients for 40+ years and is not affialiated with the same group as my original one. After the wife and I talked with him we decided to go the radiation option. First reason was that in his and backed up by my Radiation DR. A broader area is treated via radiation. second is less down/recovery time, less chance of some of the harsher side effects and the last one was reduced chances of any ED issues. This was a tough decision to make and took some time to do so.
Treatment has started and currently in the 3rd week. There are some side effects with urination being slightly harder, Some blood in the urine which just started and tingling around the anus.
We appreciate everyones advice and support.
Sey.

Wow, a lot of thoughtful information. It's a personal decision, I'm more of "take it out"…incontinence is something I have to learn through my own experience, ED…(I hope she is understanding of options to sexual wellness…we'll learn…pills and injections are what I hope will work)…survival for to watch my kids and grandkids is my end goal. Loniness…is my fear.
