Hello all, just new & wanted to introduce myself & a little background on me.

So I was diagnosed with stage 4 NSSLC with an egfr mutation on July 4th 2019. (at 35 with no symptoms) This was found in me because I was involved in a bad car accident & through a CT scan that is when they found it. I have been taking a daily pill for targeted therapy since Nov 2019 and I have been through countless immunotherapy sessions. I'm currently on my second round of radiation because unfortunately they found that my cancer has moved to my left lung now. (originally it was just i n my right lung). So I have three more rounds of radiation this week & hoping this works. On the outside people always say "you would never know" which is great I guess but I know there will be a time soon where you will.. and on the inside I feel like crap most of the tine I may get 3 good days if I'm lucky. The radiation especially just knocks any energy I have out of me. Sleep has become my best friend. That is most of my diagnosis in a nutshell, Oh and the immunotherapy has stopped currently because its's starting to make my kidneys not so good. So waiting to see a kidney specialist next month. Some thing I like to do when I do have energy is spend time with my family & friends, I have 3 kids so they are and always have been my main focus, I enjoy reading books & writing books too, walking & weight lifting (when energy allows me to), playing video games, I absolutely love IU basketball & not to mention the men's football team this year, OMG!!! lol pretty much any sport I love to watch, I like to follow astronomy, I am a Libra, I love rollercoasters and going to amusement parks, true crime junkie, baking cupcakes & cakes, and I think that pretty much sums me up. Glad to be here & thank you ACS for creating this for people who have cancer & their loved ones.
