    Hi,

At 93 it's really up to him, if it was me I doubt if I would do anything. If the cancer has spread beyond the Prostate I would treat it with some form of radiation(Cyberkife,Proton, radioactive seeds) that would give me the best quality of life after treatment and the least amount of side effects. His doctor team can run a PMSA PET scan to look for cancer spread outside of the Prostate.

    Clevelandguy probably wanted to say

If the cancer has NOT spread beyond the prostate…

    Hi,

Let me rephrase, if the cancer is within the Prostate and not close to escaping if it was me I would not treat it. If the cancer has escaped, I would treat it with some form of radiation that would give me the least amount of side effects. If I was in very good health for a man of 93 and my doctor team agrees and my insurance would cover it. But that’s up to each individual to decide.
