Anybody else dealt with skin problems on penis and genital area due to constant use of pads? Creams, ointments?

Seems I have had constant rashes or fungi problems in my groin area since having my prostate removed and started taking PC medications! I have to use a variety of creams and ointments almost daily! So I feel your pain brother! I do also have random small rashes on many other parts of my body that aren't as annoying!

It seems to me that there are a lot of details, like this skin irritation, scrotal swelling, shrinking testicles, urethra irritation, shortened penis, and managing leakage, that the urologists dont talk about. They just say it gets better, but not how to manage your quality of life.

Yep all those plus I get a shot of eligard every six months which is a chemical castration process which makes your balls feel like cotton balls! But even with the pain here and there, the rashes, the shrinkage, I also have tingling and numbness with burning in both feet Which may be caused by erleada! Some of the side effects say tingling hands and feet! I have had several blood test and nerve test can't really pinpoint problem! I have been looking for other people using Erleada to see if anyone has had the same problem!!!!! Very annoying!

sucks only pretty bad after six months. I just wash down there with soap and water two or three times a day around my going. It’s just a lot sometimes it does suck personally. I don’t think I’m gonna get better. I had salvage surgery. I’m dealing with a UTI. I’ve had this stink for five months, can’t figure out why but as long as I stand detectable, all I care about

@Marlon, my very minor incontinence became dramatically worse about six years after my salvage radiation, which was six months after my prostatectomy. It got to the stage where I was losing around 200ml per day on average about 7.5 years post RP, in the months before I underwent surgery to get an ATOMS sling fitted. It was only a few weeks before surgery that I started getting 'nappy rash'! I panicked that because of that, my surgery might be canceled, but it was ok.

Because I only started to get those skin issues shortly before that surgery, I didn't bother with creams or other treatments. Maybe what I could have done is changed my pads more often, rather than wait until they were absolutely full. There were some random evenings where I tested my pads out - it's amazing how much they could hold! But it probably wasn't doing my skin any good, lol.

I developed inverse psoriasis (yeah, I had never heard of it either) in my groin and perineum areas after my second AUS800 artificial sphincter implant. I had to use a prescription cream ointment, in fact 2 creams, the second one stronger than the first one, in order to get rid of it.
