Recommendations for wigs or hat/cap wigs?
Trying to prepare for the upcoming hair loss and could use any recommendations or tips you all have. Any advice for buying a wig? I hear the hat/cap wigs are a good choice too - any particular brand recommendations? Also, any other brand recommendations for scarves, hats, etc.?

Ti6na, I went to a wig shop while I still had my hair. It allowed the ladies helping me see the color and style of my hair, especially since I wanted to keep it similar to what I had - nothing too crazy - since I was working.
After my hair fell out, and it was hard for me, I wanted something to cover my head and not a scratchy wig. To hang out in my house and go run to the store I had found a video on cutting off the bottom 15" of a t-shirt to make a wrap around my head. I'm sure they are out there in an easy search.
One tip on the t-shirt, I went to Goodwill (any thrift shop will work) and look for a designer t-shirt. They tended to be a little more stylish colors and a little softer. Size of those t-shirts mattered too. I found a medium not to be big enough but women's large worked well for me.
Hang in there and please let us know if you have any other questions.
