prostate sbrt

I had a prostate spacoar put in 2 weeks ago so I could start sbrt radiation today. When they did the cat scan prior to my radiation the Dr. said there was no sign of the spacoar inside me. Has anyone ever heard of this happening before?

Don’t know about showing up on a CAT scan but it should show up on a MRI.

There's a new version of SpaceOAR that 'features' enhanced visibility on scans:

You should ask whether you got this newer one (probably not; but that's just my guess).
