Hello again Garland.
The long read I sent you did mention dying, you said that it read "Am I dying? Will this kill me?”
It mentioned dying and of course, when we talk about cancer people think of cancer as a death sentence still even though it is not, many people are saved with the modern treatment we have now.
The place you are referring to did not say death and stop there here is what it says...
- Many have feared that the soreness or unusual feeling in their Head & neck Area is cancer and assumed they are going to die. Even if the unusual feeling area is cancer, with modern cancer treatment this is very unlikely and successful treatment is getting better every year.
Notice it says "With modern cancer treatment this is very unlikely and successful treatment is getting better every year."
Garland do not fear you will get through this and be cancer-free.
Seriously you gotta get off all these negative thoughts and start thinking positive. It is a fact that having a positive attitude will give you a better outcome. Stop thinking is this my last Christmas and replace it with OK how are we going to enjoy and celebrate Christmas this year?
Stop Thinking negatively.
God does not give us cancer or let us have cancer it is just one of the many diseases in a fallen world. God does say he will help you and get you through it. I will private message you more about this including Bible verses.
If you do get a feeding tube during this it will be put in your stomach not in your nose. Much more comfortable.
I will be sending you support Biblically by private message.
Take Care, God Bless
Russ

Bump, I talked to a buddy that went thru throat C treatment a year before me. His Dr prescribed meds for his Thyroid due to the effects of radiation. I asked him if he had any symptoms and he said the Dr ordered the thyroid blood test after his complaint of fatigue!! I've been pretty confused by my fatigue because I always had more energy than I knew what to do with b4 cancer and nothing but fatigue since. Any old timers dealing with thyroid issues since radiation and any suggestions? tia

Hi,
I finished head and neck radiation about 5 months ago. I had thryoid issues before radiation, but the radiation caused me to need a higher level dose of Levo (the most common thyroid med). It’s definitely worth having a blood test for because it’s such an easy fix and very common with radiation near thyroid.
Wishing you the best!
