End stage nearing hospice
I am so scared. I have never had to go through anything like this in my life. I am the caregiver to my 62 year old husband. He was diagnosed 7 years ago and I feel so blessed to have had this time with him. At our last appointment we were told that there were no more treatment options and that the next step is hospice. I can't imagine living without him as he is my everything. I do have grown children, but most live out of state. I am scared, nervous, anxious and don't know where or whom to turn to. Is anyone else in this situation or has gone through this?
